OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTNERSHIP Starting from the ancient times people always wanted to get to know what is there behind a horizon. Is there any who speaks in your language, lives the same life as your. The years` pass and the curiosity grow and people want to meet each other. It is the best thing in the world to make friends in so different countries, to get more information about culture, about traditions, about living conditions and moral values, about great national scholar. Variety of all European Union countries, their differences and similarities show us how rich we are, how nice is to meet, to live together in our world. It makes us more open-minded and can understand each other very well. Aims of the project: 1) Tolerant attitudes to other cultures and languages; 2) Get acquainted with people from other countries, to see life in other countries through cultural events, traditions, literature and     art, to form tolerant attitude to different cultures and languages; 3) Motivate students and teachers to study the language which can help us to enrich ourselves – ability to speak other languages will help us to communicate, to become more open minded, knowing and comprehensive; 4) Acquire new technologies – to make a video film, be ready to work with the necessary equipment for film making; 5) Promote students` creative thinking, ability enounce their emotions, feeling and problems they are faced. Project final result is CD film, called “Nice to meet you!” The film will show cultural, historical and mental   values of different people from different countries from the youth point of view. PARTNER SCHOOLS Latvia: coordination of the project - follow and ascertain all planned activities to be done; ascertain that e-mails of all the partner schools are working correctly /every month/ to be sure that they can get the whole information about the project work to coordinate communication between all the partner schools to be ready. Making the end product – a video film. Organization of the 1st meeting Czech Republic: organize the 2nd meeting, making websites. Poland: organize the 4th meeting. Netherlands: evaluation form, monitoring the working progress. Cyprus: prepare recommendations to improve a perfect run of the project work.
