Nieuwdorp.

Our village, Nieuwdorp, is one of the villages that belongs to the community of Borsele. It is situated in the southwestern part of the Netherlands in the region Zeeland. That means Sea-land. Our region is surrounded by water: the Northsea, the river Westerschelde.

Nieuwdorp has about 1300 inhabitants. The village is situated nearby the industrial area of Vlissingen.

 At the other side of the village there are farms and fields.
 Farmers cultivates potatoes,maize,corn and sugar-beets.

There are also a lot of meadows for the cows to graze. They give a lot of milk.

In our village we also have a wine-grower! He makes wine from black-berries.
